Tricia McLaughlin, the spokesperson for Vivek Ramaswamy's campaign, revealed on Monday night that the candidate has decided to withdraw from the run for the presidency.
"There's no path for me to be the next president, absent things we don't want to see happen in this country," he remarked after finishing 4th in the Iowa Caucuses.
When Ramaswamy made the announcement that he was withdrawing his candidacy, he had received 8,093 votes, which is equivalent to 7.7% of the total vote in the Republican caucuses.
Monday night, Ramaswamy made his final appeal to voters by visiting two Iowa Caucus precincts in Clive. He did this during his political campaign. During his speech at the Horizon Events Center in Clive, Ramaswamy, who is 38 years old, informed his fans that he is living the American Dream.
As far as Ramaswamy is concerned, his parents arrived in the United States from India with little money. In the present day, he has established businesses that are worth billions of dollars, he has a wife and two boys, and he is living the American Dream, according to Ramaswamy.
Ramaswamy has stated that he was the "Youngest person ever to run for president as a Republican," and he plans to make it possible for his children to realize their ambition of running for president.
Ramaswamy expressed his concern saying, "I am worried that the American Dream is not going to exist for our two sons and their generation unless we all step up and actually do something about it."
According to the Candidate Tracker of the Des Moines Register, Ramaswamy has 323 public events booked throughout the state of Iowa, making him the clear winner. His campaign claims that he made several visits to many of Iowa's 99 counties, and that he visited every single one at least twice. He has attracted interested onlookers but not many loyal followers.
