Deebo picks Packers to advance to wild-card round over Cowboys

As the 49ers, led by Deebo Samuel, sit back and enjoy Super Wild Card Weekend on NFL Network, they can't wait to face their first playoff opponent.

The Green Bay Packers and the Dallas Cowboys will meet at AT&T Stadium on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. PST, while the Los Angeles Rams and the Detroit Lions will meet at Ford Field at 5:15 p.m. PST, marking two of the three NFC games that begin on Sunday.

During Tuesday's "Up & Adams" episode, the 49ers wide out was challenged to predict the outcome of the first meeting between the Packers and Cowboys.

"You got Dak [Prescott] and CeeDee [Lamb], CeeDee is playing at the top of his game right now, which is good for him and Dak is playing well as well," stated Samuel.

No one ever knows what they're going to receive in the playoffs because it's a one-and-done deal. My money is on the Cowboys in this one

At home, where they have not dropped a single game all season, the seventh-seeded Packers will take on the second-seeded Dallas Cowboys in the NFC playoffs.

After losing to the 49ers in Week 5 and starting the 2023 NFL season with a 3-2 record, Prescott, Lamb, and the Cowboys overtook the Philadelphia Eagles to win the NFC East division and secure the second-best postseason seed in the conference.

Next weekend, Green Bay will play the 49ers in the divisional playoff round if it manages to pull off the win. If Samuel's prediction comes true and the Cowboys win, their only chance to get even with the 49ers would be to face them in the NFC Championship Game.
