Golden State Warriors' Draymond Green's comeback was booed against Memphis Grizzlies.

Upon his return from suspension, Draymond Green was greeted with boos as the Golden State Warriors were defeated by the Memphis Grizzlies.

After being banned last month for hitting an opponent in the face, 33-year-old Green has missed the last 16 games for the Warriors. Upon entering the floor on Tuesday's visit to Memphis, he was met with boos from the fans.

Green played 24 minutes and contributed seven points, seven rebounds, and four assists in the Warriors' 116-107 loss. This was Green's third ejection of the season; his December strike on Phoenix Suns player Jusuf Nurkic resulted in an indefinite ban.

The NBA released Green earlier this month after he "completed steps that demonstrated his commitment to conforming his conduct to standards expected"; nonetheless, he was still had to miss four more games due to the ban.

Draymond executed a solid game. Steve Kerr, coach of the Warriors, expressed his pleasure in having him return. "Obviously as a team we didn't play well, but Draymond competed and it's good to get him back in the fold." In other news, the Philadelphia 76ers defeated the Houston Rockets 124-115 thanks to 41 points and 10 rebounds from Joel Embiid, who returned from a three-game injury layoff.

Embiid has scored 30+ points in 17 consecutive games and 40+ points seven times this season. While the 76ers sit in third place in the Eastern Conference, the Boston Celtics, who lead the conference, won their second straight game with a 105-96 victory over the Toronto Raptors.

The Dallas Mavericks defeated the New Orleans Pelicans 125-120 thanks to 42 points from Kyrie Irving and 41 points from Tim Hardaway Jr., who hit nine three-pointers.

In other news, the Atlanta Hawks defeated the San Antonio Spurs 109–99 on Trae Young’s career point shooting, the Orlando Magic rallied to defeat the New York Knicks 98–94, and the Miami Heat prevailed against the Brooklyn Nets 96–95 in overtime.

The fourth-seeded Detroit Pistons won 129–117 against the Washington Wizards, the second-seeded Cleveland Cavaliers cruised past the Chicago Bulls 109–91, and the third-seeded Utah Jazz blasted the Indiana Pacers 132–105.
