Monday and Tuesday saw more than 300 storms in the central and eastern US as a powerful storm brought various weather consequences.
As of 9 p.m. EST, 23 tornadoes have been reported, nine on Monday and 14 on Tuesday. Texas, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina reported tornadoes.

Over 250 high-wind reports, including 45 on Monday and 232 on Tuesday, have been reported as power outages mount.

As of 9 p.m. EST, Pennsylvania had 179,000 power outages, North Carolina 146,000, New York 115,000, Virginia 59,000, Maryland 52,000, New Jersey 46,000, and Delaware 30,000.
