(Part-2) Warriors' Wiggins shows worth in win against Bulls

Wiggins, along with a number of his teammates, looked out of sorts in last week's games against the Pelicans, the Raptors, and the Detroit Pistons. The seasoned forward scored 11 points on 4-of-19 shooting in the three contests.

He made 8 of 13 field goal tries vs the Bulls, demonstrating a remarkable improvement in his accuracy. Outside the arc accounted for four of his five missed shots.

After stealing an offensive rebound in the third quarter, Wiggins pivoted and drove right at 6-foot-10 Nikola Vucevic for a layup that knotted the game at 84-84. It was one of Wiggins' finest performances.

That occurred when he and Kuminga lay side by side on the floor. Kerr has previously been apprehensive about pairing the two due to scheduling considerations and the similarities between the games. However, in Chicago, the two played effectively together, especially in the crucial third quarter.

While Wiggins pounded the post and hit his mid-range shots often, Kuminga was most effective while working from outside the paint; he converted all four of his 3-point attempts.

Interviewed by reporters at the United Center, Kuminga expressed his enjoyment of playing on the floor beside Wiggs. "The way we work on improving as a team through discussion and film analysis will serve us well all season long." As the Warriors fended off the Bulls' effort at a comeback, Kerr shown trust by using both players in his final rotation.

You just have to throw JK and Wiggs out there because they were playing such great games," Kerr remarked. Tonight, we will be without two of our top performing players. It was perhaps his finest game ever, JK; it wasn't only that he hit four threes; it was also his enthusiasm and drive. It seemed as if he was at ease and on the money.

Wiggins, who started the game off for the Warriors with a three-pointer and a forceful two-handed jam, may be compared to this. Whether he plays well with the Warriors or is used as a trade chip, Wiggins has the potential to be an important asset.
