Two more interviews with potential head coaches have been performed by the Chargers.
This past Thursday, the team made the announcement that they had conducted an interview with Raiders defensive coordinator Patrick Graham.
This week, they have also had interviews with interim head coach Giff Smith and offensive coordinator Kellen Moore
. Additionally, they are planning to do an interview with Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan at the beginning of the next week.
In 2022, Graham became a member of the Raiders in addition to having previously served as a defensive coordinator for the Giants and the Chargers. During his time as an assistant with the Patriots
he worked closely with Josh McDaniels, who had previously served as the head coach of the Raiders. Additionally, he spent one season working as a member of the coaching staff in Green Bay.
It has not been reported that the Raiders have had an interview with him for the position of head coach,
but a story that was published this week claimed that the Raiders have prevented another club from doing an interview with him for the position of defensive coordinator.
