Lynn Yamada Davis, a TikTok chef famed for her hilarious culinary videos, died at 67, her son confirmed Friday. Her son stated her death was "super peaceful,"

and she died surrounded by loved ones. Hannah Mariko Shofet, her daughter, told The New York Times her mother died of esophageal cancer.

Davis' son released a video on social media showing photographs of her as a youngster, an MIT student, and a civil engineering graduate. Mother: "She's so cool," he said.

Her son exhibited photos of Davis as a young mother with his professional soccer player sibling and called her a "proud mom."

Davis completed eight marathons, according to her son, and their old kitchen was photographed. MIT Alumni Association profile: The mother of four children started Cooking with Lynja videos with Tim, her youngest.

Davis had over 30 million followers on many platforms, posting over-the-top culinary videos and laughing with her kids.
